Testimonials:

When I first met Mrs. Stacey I was 10 years old, I attended a workshop she directed. She introduced me to African Dance and the dances that originated in the Caribbean Islands, I LOVED IT!
Mrs. Stacey is a great teacher. She is very kind and can be tough when necessary. She works with all students no matter what level they’re at. I appreciate the format she uses to teach.  Mrs. Stacey always start off with some simple exercises and later build on it to challenge the student. She creates new phrases so the student can adapt and get stronger.  She also explains dance moves origins, so you actually enjoy the history lesson while dancing.
I have competed two pieces she choreographed, and recently placed Silver in a local competition with a piece titled “Vivid Dreams”.  Training with Mrs. Stacey allows me to grow as a dancer physically but also raises my cultural and social awareness. She teaches dance and much more, I feel blessed to be able  to learn from her.
