Presenting “Dear Little Black Girl” as Houston Choreographers X6 was a dream come true. I want to thank the panel at the ERJCC for having faith in me and selecting my work, all of the dance community who came out to support and offered warm and valuable feedback, my family and friends who have been an unrelenting support system and have allowed me to grow in my career in the arts, and my talented cast of Courtney Allen, Tohnnia Holts, LaKendra Howard and Aniya Wingate for their hardwork, dedication, and commitment to this project.
